Getting found
Showing up when someone searches for what you do, and when they ask an AI assistant instead of a search box. Slower to pay back than ads, and we say so plainly: it compounds over quarters, it does not rescue one.
You might need this if
- You do not appear in search for the things you actually do
- Competitors show up for your work and you do not
- You have plenty of content and none of it brings enquiries
- New customers only ever arrive by word of mouth
What the work involves
What you actually get.
Scoped and written down before anything starts, so what is included and what is not is never a matter of memory.
- The handful of searches actually worth winning for your business
- Pages built to answer them properly, not to hit a word count
- The technical set-up so you can be found, read and quoted
- A simple way to tell whether it is working
How it runs
Four stages, every time.
The shape is the same on every engagement. The specifics are set on the call and agreed in writing.
Stage 01
Find the searches worth winning
A short list where the intent is commercial and you can realistically compete, rather than a spreadsheet of thousands you will never rank for.
Stage 02
Fix what is already there
Most sites rank badly for structural reasons long before content comes into it. That gets sorted first because it is the cheapest win.
Stage 03
Publish to answer, not to fill
Pages built to answer a real question completely, which is also exactly what gets quoted back by an AI assistant.
Stage 04
Measure the right thing
Enquiries, and position for the terms that actually convert. Not traffic for its own sake.
Who this usually suits
Where this one earns its place.
Real estate agents
Your marketing is indistinguishable from every other agent nearby.
Insurance agents
Compliance limits your claims, so everyone sounds identical.
How we work
We will not sell you what will not work.
Plenty of marketing gets sold because it is easy to sell, not because it will change anything. We would rather scope the work that actually moves your numbers — sometimes that is narrower than you expected, and sometimes it is a good deal bigger. Either way you hear the reasoning before you hear the price, and nothing begins until both are in writing.
Working together
Results need room to happen.
Work that moves a number needs three things: enough scope to fix the cause rather than the symptom, enough control to actually make the changes, and enough time for them to compound. We are straight about that before anything is agreed, because marketing that is second-guessed line by line does not produce results for anyone. If that is not the arrangement you are looking for, far better we both find out on the first call.
What an engagement assumes
- A written scope, so what is in and what is out is never a matter of memory
- The access and authority to make the changes the plan depends on
- A realistic run of time before the work is judged
- One agreed number that tells us both whether it is working
