Your website
A site built or rebuilt so it is fast, clear and brings in enquiries, and then kept that way. A website is not something you finish. It is something you run.
You might need this if
- Your site is slow, dated, or awkward on a phone
- It looks fine but almost nobody enquires through it
- It has not been touched in years and nobody is sure what is on it
- You are advertising to a page that was never built to convert
What the work involves
What you actually get.
Scoped and written down before anything starts, so what is included and what is not is never a matter of memory.
- A site that loads fast and works properly on phones
- Pages that say the right thing in the right order
- Built so search engines and AI assistants can read and quote it
- Run and maintained by us: updates, backups, security, speed and steady improvement
- Full ownership and access. The site is yours. Running it well is the part you are hiring us for
How it runs
Four stages, every time.
The shape is the same on every engagement. The specifics are set on the call and agreed in writing.
Stage 01
Decide what the site is for
One job per page, and an agreed definition of what a successful visit actually looks like for your business.
Stage 02
Structure before design
Pages, order and content mapped first, so the design is solving a stated problem rather than decorating one.
Stage 03
Build it fast and readable
Built on WordPress, quick on a phone, and structured so both search engines and AI assistants can read and quote it.
Stage 04
Then run it
Updates, backups, security, speed and steady improvement on a set rhythm. A site left alone stops earning.
Who this usually suits
Where this one earns its place.
Non-profit organisations
You explain the work differently every time you are asked.
How we work
We will not sell you what will not work.
Plenty of marketing gets sold because it is easy to sell, not because it will change anything. We would rather scope the work that actually moves your numbers — sometimes that is narrower than you expected, and sometimes it is a good deal bigger. Either way you hear the reasoning before you hear the price, and nothing begins until both are in writing.
Working together
Results need room to happen.
Work that moves a number needs three things: enough scope to fix the cause rather than the symptom, enough control to actually make the changes, and enough time for them to compound. We are straight about that before anything is agreed, because marketing that is second-guessed line by line does not produce results for anyone. If that is not the arrangement you are looking for, far better we both find out on the first call.
What an engagement assumes
- A written scope, so what is in and what is out is never a matter of memory
- The access and authority to make the changes the plan depends on
- A realistic run of time before the work is judged
- One agreed number that tells us both whether it is working
