Pricing

What this costs, and how you will know before you commit.

No number that arrives as a surprise, and no scope that quietly grows. Here is exactly how pricing is shaped and what moves it.

How engagements are shaped

Free, fixed, monthly, or a combination.

The intro call

Thirty minutes to understand your business and see whether we are a fit. No cost, no obligation, and no audit disguised as a sales call.

Free

Projects

A website, a set of pages, a campaign build, a system. Scoped and quoted as a fixed price before any work starts.

Fixed price

Ongoing work

Campaign management, publishing, site care, steady improvement. A monthly retainer covering an agreed scope, reviewed on a set rhythm.

Flat monthly fee

Most often, both

A build followed by the care that keeps it earning. A site or a campaign left alone stops working, so the two usually belong together.

Fixed price, then monthly

What moves the number

What actually changes a quote.

We would rather explain this than have you guess. Four things genuinely move a price, and none of them are hidden.

Makes it smaller

  • You already have material we can build on
  • The problem is narrow and well understood
  • You can supply text, photographs or information yourself
  • One round of changes rather than several

Makes it bigger

  • Starting from nothing, with no existing material
  • Several audiences or services that each need their own pages
  • Research or interviews before anything can be written
  • A hard deadline that compresses the work
  • Approvals that have to pass through several people

No surprises

What you will never be charged for.

If it is not in the scope, it is not on the invoice. That is the whole rule, and it runs both ways.

  • The intro call
  • The time spent scoping and preparing your quote
  • Reasonable communication while a job is running
  • Fixing anything we got wrong
  • Any work that was not agreed first

How a quote happens

Four steps to a number.

Step 01

The intro call

Thirty minutes on your business. Free, and no commitment either way.

Step 02

A written scope

What we would do, what is included, what is not, the price and the dates. On one page.

Step 03

You decide

Take it, change it, or leave it. There is no follow-up sequence and no chasing.

Step 04

Work starts

At the agreed price. If the job grows, that is agreed too, before it happens.

Working together

Results need room to happen.

Work that moves a number needs three things: enough scope to fix the cause rather than the symptom, enough control to actually make the changes, and enough time for them to compound. We are straight about that before anything is agreed, because marketing that is second-guessed line by line does not produce results for anyone. If that is not the arrangement you are looking for, far better we both find out on the first call.

What an engagement assumes

  • What is in and what is out, so it is never a matter of memory
  • The access and authority to make the changes the plan depends on
  • A realistic run of time before the work is judged
  • One agreed number that tells us both whether it is working

How we work

We will not sell you what will not work.

Plenty of marketing gets sold because it is easy to sell, not because it will change anything. We would rather scope the work that actually moves your numbers. Sometimes that is narrower than you expected, and sometimes it is a good deal bigger. Either way you hear the reasoning before you hear the price, and nothing begins until both are agreed.

Next step

Want a number for your situation?

The call is where it starts. Thirty minutes, free. If we can help, a scope and a price follow.
